Skyrim: Who is a good woman to marry? My character in Skyrim is a male Nord, and I'm thinking about eventually marrying someone in Skyrim. What female is one of the better/best looking women that are available for marriage, and will also open a shop, so I can receive 100 gold every day?
So, I want a fit wife...
Any suggestions? Who do think the hottest woman in skyrim is?
stlygia or somthing in shor's end. ( cant spell her name). to get her just simply deliver a package to her father .
Muiri if you can stand her dialog glitch. There is a similar thread about most attractive girl but i can't seem find it, there is also two or three threads about who people have married but there also burried somewhere here in the Skyrim section too.
Ysolda is mine though stay away.
Borgakh the Steel Heart, Orc women are strong, and tough. If going by looks, Senna is good, but she might glitch and not allow the option to ask where to live.
Why the Dibella priestesses ? You can barely see their faces...Unless I pickpocket some nice clothes in...
Probably Sylgja. I like Muiri, Mjoll and Aela as well...That's pretty much it. A lot more presentable and/or badass men than women as marriage options in my book.
because even with a barely visable face you can tell they're gorgeous; Also they're masters of Dibellan arts, do you know what that means?
I see what you did there...Hmm, never really looked at their faces, or them in general. Now I am curious.

Dibellan Arts...You got my attention, and I can simply pickpocket her clothes and shove in some fine clothes
If I were a lesbian, then Jenassa for sure. That Dunmer chick kicks some serious ass, and that's what I like!
I wonder why havent girls made a thread called hottiest marriable guys?
All those Barbie dolls are nothing compared to Miss Argonia. Original beauty from the marsh, didn't even need to be spoiled with ugly makeups.
She can't win Miss Argonia, she's an immigrant.
Pink Slim wrote:She can't win Miss Argonia, she's an immigrant.
Eh? It's unclear about that part, you don't know that. For all we know she might be a migrant.
If she emigrates from the Marsh, and arrive in Skyrim to stay there, she is an immigrant.
If she decide to work in Windhelm for a while before decide to move to Cyrodiil. She is a migrant.'Migrant' usually implies for something temporary, like migrant labour, someone who moves about all over the place in search of work.
Because there's like maybe 2-3 guys who would qualify as 'hot'. And that's a stretch. Maybe the Companion twins, but they aren't hot in my book.
Now that's a one good piece of green ass......
I think they're pretty hot. But my favorite guy is Angrenor. Only female I've ever married in the game was Shavee, when I couldn't decide on a guy I liked during my first playthrough. Now, though, I keep thinking of guys I want to marry and I'm getting too burnt out to keep making characters to marry them all. XD
Aye... marrying her is a must. On the bed, she can teach you something better than the Dibellan arts; let's call it 'Saxhleel Kamasutra'..
IMust have left it in the EETC ship!
Oh no... by the Hist! this can't be happening!

My Argonian guy Dragathus married her. My Khajit killer K'thur married...Utchgerd the unbroken, but seemingly how he would become an assassin anyways and his facination with Alchemy, it probably would have been best to wait until he can marry Muri. Hey, it is hard to find wife for the second out of two Khajit people who live in Skyrim permanantly. The first one is being J'zargo. Kjarjo doesn't live in Skyrim permanantly, he's a migrant bodyguard that travels with Khajit caravans. Now I am not sure if the cats that Thalmor keep at their embassy are considered permanent residents in Skyrim. Although I do wonder where are their birth certificates and passports...and licence to sell skooma and moon sugar? Alright who is the Cortel in Skyrim?
Oh about the hotest women list over there. Serana is a Vampire, but she can be considered a Nord as well. So who that will be, Serana or Astrid as the hotest non marriagible Nord. I agree on Jordis the Shielmaiden as the hotest marriagible Nord (reminds me of my wife, especially with the lengh of hair) too bad I usually have a rule of not marrying housecarls, it strictly duty and all. Teerie is not only the hotest marriagible Altmer, she's the only marriagible Altmer! Brelina Marylis, probabably the most favorite marriagible female Dunmer, but there are still many who would prefer Janessa. And as far as Khajit goes, personaly I would think that the one that wears red cloth that look like dress is better.
By the way, if you would want to have your wife see everything you do from critical perspective, choose the one that have the dialogue similar to Utchgerd the Unbroken. She would say that you chose well with Breezehome, but when you get a child or children and ask her how they are doing. She would say that this house is good for just the two of you, but with children, you going to need a bigger home. Then when you finally build a huge, Lakeview Manor and move your family there. She would say that children are fine as much as they can be, when they are not fending attacks from bandits, giants and spiders...'Honestly dear, what were you thinking sending us out here?' Preaty interesting out look don't you think, much different from how Camila's dialogue model would think that everywhere is so great, except she worries about Markarth.
Oddly, Aela has the same quotes when you move your family into a Homestead (which is what I did when I built Heljarchen Hall). Then again, they DO have the same actress (Claudia Christian), but still, it's a bit uncharacteristic of her regardless.
I'll vote her too, as that is who my Dunmer married (yes, she's into women more than men).
Can't decide on who's the best for my Imperial Vampire to marry though (edit: just checked that Jenassa can't be turned into a Vampire, ah well, her dark ways still have me interested for the sake of my second character).
Well... Here is mine. Aela the Huntress, Alfhild Battle-Born, Anekke Crag Jumper, Angi, Astrid, Borgakh the Steel Heart, Brelyna Maryon, Eisa Blackthorn, Fastred, Idgrod the Younger, Ingun Black Briar, Jordis the Sword Maiden, Julienne Lylvieve, Keeper Carcette, Legate Rikke, Lisette, Mjoll the Lioness, Muiri, Nenya, Susanna the Wicked, Svidi, Sylgja, Viviene Onis and Ysolda.
Well... I'm a straight girl, I ain't looking for marriageable women, you see c:
I just put here those who I find cute, beautiful or handsome ^^
Annekke is cute. I really wanted to marry her. I even went as far as assassinating her husband so I could have her. Sadly that tactic does not work in Skyrim.
Njada Stonearm is actually pretty cute. Many nords even who aren't old can be born with gray hair. Just think of her as platinum blond. That helmet just gets in the way too.
Plus when she's married she has badass quotes. 'Leaving? Take the world by storm, dearest.'
I just put here those who I find cute, beautiful or handsome ^^
Moth gro-Bagol.
I just put here those who I find cute, beautiful or handsome ^^
I'm looking foward to marry him c:
its spelt 'Slygia'

Spoilers jerk.
Some of them aren't even marriagable. And some might have been meant to be marriagable, but are not in the final version. Anyways as of Downguard, Keeper Carcette will die to when you reach level 10, lol
On console I say Aela or Lydia. On pc Serana or Ingun Black Briar.
She is still a cute npc, I remember when I first got skyrim. I saw her & was like that's who I'm going to make my wife. Did her little plant gathering quest, bought an amulet of mara & was ready to marry her, only to find out she's unmarriable on console. I was quite disappointed to say the least. However on pc I married her. Let's face it I'm no saint either as the dragonborn, why does my wife have to be? She did experiments with animals I have killed over a thousand people, we all have our faults lol.
Not to mention she tells you 'How can I ever repay you?' Be my wife, I don't need the key to your stupid chest with ingredients and potions! I hear you on that point, originaly I was going to marry Jarl Elisif the Fair, she reminded me of my wife ( that wants to divorce me now). Then I realized that Alexandros couldn't marry her. Lydia seemed to have been popular marriage choice, but that also the name of my real life big sister, wouldn't sound right to marry someone like that. So I settled for his first traveling companion, Utchgerd the Unbroken, who later died on an adventure (well I kind of wanted to try to marry Jordis the shield maiden anyways...without knowing that you cannot marry second time in vanilla version withouth console comands and all). Now Alexandros is a widower and his only happiness is being a single father to Runa and Samuel. Oh and his son is the same race as he is. Yeah, my first character have a hard life and have done quite a lot of mistakes.
Aela. Aela aaaalllllll the way. It's just strange that she married a mute, murderous, possibly faceless Argonian. 1. MUTE: Kinda true; 2. MURDEROUS: True; 3. POSSIBLY FACELESS: Proven false
Jordis the sword maiden. My Nord-Werewolf-Assassin-Nightingale-Warrior was lonely as a single father of Blaise and Lucia, so I became thane of solitude and payed roughly 30000 for a house, and fell for Jordis. She's made me about 10000 from her shop, and she has the nicest housecarl voice out there. All of the others are like 'Honor to YOU, my thane' She's like ' Honor to you, my thane' It is creepy the way she says 'Goodbye, my love' She's great with kids, and she's also a warrior like me.
Exactly, & to make it even worse they tease you, by her constantly saying 'It's a fine day with you around'. Oh yeah She isn't a bad looking npc either, but I did kind of expect I wouldn't be able to marry a jarl lol. Sorry to hear bro that's a bummer! I married Lydia on my current choice, but I wanted a wife that could share my adventures with me, & not sit at home all the time. Although probably not the best for the kids Mom & Dad never home lol. They should of made it if your wife is killed that you can be remarried. Overall I made tons of different characters but on console they all usually marry Aela or Lydia. Aela just didn't fit in for me on this playthrough, because I'm a vampire & we hate werewolves, & Lydia I could turn into a vampire.
I have only one character that married a housecarl I believe. One of my later Imperials one one of the data (I did that just for the heck of it). Since Lydia so popular as a spouse, I had that character marry her and hadn't plaid that data ever since. I decided to have not to marry a housecarl policy, try to have it strictly business. I have made few files with one of my Nords, just to have him marry every Nord woman in the game, that I haven't married with any other characters. I plaid him mostly on the data with Mjorn and Aela (I like Aela more). Unfortunatly, I stopped playing Skyrim before I decided to marry Nord Housecarls (cannot remember if I married Iona or not though). And yes, the reason why I stoped playing Skyrim is because of what I am going trough with my wife. Besides, I feel like I was neglecting her for sometime as well because I played Skyrim too much. Might not make any difference now, but I just couldn't play Skyrim at one point after she told me that she thinks we need to divorce. Honestly, even if I will want to play Skyrim again, I don't know when I would be able to do so.
I really do wish we could marry Jarls. I know some of them are already married, but the ones that aren't (Ulfric and Elisif, for instance) would be awesome for making a sort of power play. Make it so you have to win the Civil War on their side to get them interested, then let you marry them. You don't necessarily have to become High King/Queen, but being wed to him/her would certainly entail benefits, and not require being a nord like occupying the actual monarchical position would.
This was actually my first character to marry Lydia. She wasn't able to married until the 1.5 patch, but I sold my old skyrim game before that. I always married Aela, so I thought I would try Lydia this time. My problem is none of the other girls I would really want to waste my time with, Camilla I think it is in Riverwood is alright, but she can't follow you on your adventures. & I hear that she constantly thanks you for getting the claw back, it would be annoying, especially considering I always steal the claw back once I give it to them so I have all the claws lol. I know how you feel there man, I was with my gf for 3 & a half years, we weren't married, but I stopped listening to one of my favorite bands because of it, because it was her favorite band. It brought up to many memories, I also have never played AC brotherhood since then either, because that was the game I was playing when we broke up so I feel you on that one.
I think that if you marry Camilla you can just take the claw, since she was classified as its original owner and, as her spouse, you get dual ownership.
I think this time around, the only thing that you need to marry Lydia is a house in Whiterun.
My wife didn't really had a favorite band for two years. (Well I don't know is she still listened to Nickelbackers). None of us could really bring ourselves to listen to Evanessess since 2011, that's when her uncle committed suicide and he was into that band too. She used to listen to a lot of emotional songs lately: Halleluja from Shrek, In the Arms of an Angel from City of Angels and On My Own from Les Misserelles. I listened to Halleluja few times after she left, just to cry. Surprisingly On My Own didn't make me cry. Hadn't tried to listen to In the Arms of the Angel yet. But couldn't help to listen to our wedding song 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift. And the song that we danced to for the first time, 'You're Beautiful'. Cause she is beautiful, not drop dead gorgeous, but beautiful even now, when she's not as slim as when I met her for the first time. Oh yeah, she also liked 'One Thousand Words' from Final Fantasy X, I also listened to it few times since she left.
Camilla seems to be pretty and she seems to like, some of the things that she tells you after you bring the claw is : 'You are not from around here, that makes two of us, don't be a stranger.' Or something like that. She is decent wife if you are not planing to have an adventuring spouse, the only problem is Sven and Fandal keep comming to your house, no matter how far you move. I had them come over even in Markarth and dare to talk bad to me, even though he came to see my wife there. Few times I had a half a mind just to kill him, but always staid my hand.
Obviously Borkul the Beast is the hottest girl duh!
muiri is the closest to looking like that hot nordic girl hroki in markarth
Unfortunately, the questionable Redguard woman is not marriagable trough normal means. By Questionable, I mean that no one is really sure if she is telling the truth, or the Alikirs. Like many things in Skyrim, it is left to the player to decide who is right and who is wrong.
My favorite women in this game consist of:
Serana, Aela the Huntress, Astrid, Karliah, and Frea.
I'm a bisexual woman and Jenassa gets my vote. She has so many traits I find attractive. In the game world, at least.
Death is art! 'Blade and shadow, silence and death - these are my arts. For a modest fee, I'll make great art for you.' And the thing she says about painting in blood red in the canvas of... Anyway her metaphors rule! This wiki also describes her quite well. Shadowy sensibilities, dark nature. I think if I was born in a world where murdering someone was that easy and the prepercussions would consist of a fine of 1000 septims and an angry guard I would do exactly what she does. And would probably have an inate lust for killing too. And what a better hobby than one you get paid for, right?
I drag her along with practically every adventure even though I no longer need her since I can have any follower I like. I never make her wear any armor that would hide her figure or face and that's why her armor usually sucks but I don't really care... That daedric armor just doesn't fit!
I never get tired of her saying the same things over and over. They are after all quite interesting. She also has the most interesting soothing voice. Like a woman of ripe age and experience. But at the same time she's probably one of the most sinister women in the game. She says the most sadistic things with a soothing voice. Like some sinister lullaby.
If we would be talking about hot men, them degraded, arrogant Thalmor types would get my vote :) I just love the altmer poise and bearing! Women must be programmed to like the most power-hungry, self-indulgent and self-absorbed men who would stop at nothing to get what they want. Otherwise it would be quite difficult to understand why out of all the guys in skyrim, the most antagonistic ones turn me on the most. Ondolemar (in Markarth) is probably the best and then Ancano even though I sometimes find random altmer mages that are way hotter. Thank the divines for dead thrall :) All altmer males I've encountered have been more or less rude and abusive, practicing dark arts, necromancy or otherwise murderous characters and that's exactly what I like about them. Even though they also annoy me in the same time and I end up slitting their throats or choking them slowly to death but that's only part of the fun.
Whoever said women aren't violent has obviosly never met me.
Sorry for all the spelling mistakes. I'm actually a Nord in real life too (as if a person from one of the Nordic countries) and I'm not really a native English speaker.
The above poster wins the 'Most Epic Person of the Day' award.
Your English is amazing for someone of the foreign natue! I'm actually Egyptian. ^^
'Whoever said women aren't violent has obviously never met me.' GOLD, BABY, GOLD! I am a woman and proud. :)
I almost forgot the loading screen altmer guy! He's the best.
Those altmer mages really can freely practice their arts on me <3 Or use their magic sticks...
Other beautiful women: Mjoll the lioness (especially in a hooded black robe, I mean wow), Aela, Ingun Black-Briar, Saadia, Sylgja, Rayya, Njada, Astrid, Brelyna, Niluva Hlaalu and some of the Dibella priestessess. Knowledge of the Dibellan arts must come in handy. I was pretty suprised someone thought Brelyna was the hottest dunmer. I totally understand that because I like the dunmer characteristics and find conventional beauty quite dull but I was 100% sure Karliah would be the most popular choice. They have obviously tried to make her more beautiful than your usual dunmer woman. She looks a lot younger with less wrinkles and bags under her eyes and also has a lot younger voice than for example Jenassa. In fact, her voice sounds like she was 15! She almost whispers all of her lines to emphasize her innocence and 'good' nature compared to other dunmers you usually encounter.
Hey, AWC 91. Did you consider marrying Jenassa?
I could probably be considered a Nord, being of Germanic-Scottish heritage. I play as one.
I like the Dunmer too. Erandur is my husband/follower and he is SO BADASS! I usually hire Jenassa early, then change to Erandur around lvl 5.
Tip: put Jenassa in glass armor with a gold/copper and/or jade and emerald circlet. She looks FINE!!!
Germans and Scotts aren't by themselves 'Nord enough' unless they have Scandinavian (or other Nordic) blood in them. I don't really know if I'm considered a Nord by heritage in the strictest sense, either, because I'm actually a Finn and we aren't Scandinavians so these draugar etc. aren't really part of our lore. Finland is very different from the other Nordic countries since our language is from a totally different language group and our native religion and culture were very different. But many things are also similar, like living in a harsh and cold environment much like Skyrim. Except now with global warming and all. Quite like Mjoll I miss the cold. It makes me feel alive! It gets to my Nord blood and wakes it up!
I know Swedish so I can translate names in Skyrim if they're based on words that are similar. Finns have to study Swedish at school. Some people might think it's because Swedes used to be in power here and that's why their descendants still have privilages -like the right to be able to communicate in Swedish in Finland. Some Finns think of this as a power struggle where a small group of elitists wants to control what everybody else has to study (lately this has reminded me of the Thalmor that are quite a small group amongst the Nords) but I don't think it's like that at all. Having close relations to Scandinavia has really defined us as a country in my opinion even though or language isn't based on Old Norse language. If we would have identified ourselves more with Russia, for example, we might be a totally different country now and I must admit I'm very happy we ended up with being culturally closer to Sweden.
Anyway I think it has been a blessing to learn a language that is similar to languages that are spoken almost everywhere else in Northern Europe. Swedish, Danish, Icelandic etc are all related to each other as languages.
Looks do matter.
I think smarts are better than looks. Did anyone else see the car commercial with the guy and the girl and the horse? That guy is more looks than anything else and what does he end up doing? Riding a horse backward. BOOM. PROOF.
Pewdiepie is Swedish. I can't remember his full name. Felix Ulf -------------- I HAZ NO IDEA. Notch is also apparently Swedish. I like Minecraft.
I have Irish blood.
Felix Kjellburg.
I like the girls that are warriors, like me. Women like Sigrid in Riverwood make my teeth itch. Forcing her daughter to be girly-wirlry *gags*. Dorthe wants to be a smith. That's good money!
Seriously, if they can swing (or forge) a blade, they're hot.
I like girls with attitude and unique dialogue who are brave in battle and fierce with their enemies. Girls who are quite violent and sadistic like my Dovahkiin. When men are concerned I usually like the power-hungry, arrogant and superior Thalmor guys like I said :)
Yesterday I tried to kill a bug and when it wouldn't die I shouted 'Filthy N'wah', 'Filthy fetcher' and stuff at it and it was looking at me like wtf and flew out of the window :D
Niranye from Windhelm or Faralda are the hottest Altmer women but can't be married on xbox. But there are some random Altmer and Dunmer mages in caves etc who are hotter. They can sometimes be quite beautiful but aren't even named. I like mages. Males more than females, though. I'm always quite disappointed when I steal some dead mage's clothes and only then notice that they're female. It's sometimes difficult to tell when they have a hooded robe on since Altmer guys are sometimes so feminine <3 Which I only like.
By the Eight that concept art Altmer guy in the wikia page for Altmer (Skyrim) is hot! Too bad he can't be found in the game. Guess who'd be my dead thrall and slave in every room of the house. I like the skinny, not muscular, feminine looking mer guys <3 I wonder if that is because I'm bisexual... After all the guys I like are often quite feminine. In real life too.
Farkas is an exception. I like him even though he's your usual 'hot' muscular Nord guy.. He reminds me of Finns. He speaks very little and with few words and that's why everyone thinks he's retarded but he's actually smart enough not to talk all the time when there's no need. Vilkas means 'lively' in Finnish. I thinks it's a funny coincidence.
This might all be off-topic though but that's only because the best women in Skyrim aren't marriageable (except for lovely Jenassa, oh <3). Especially if you happen to like Mer.
Well I am Russian, from Baltic coast, does that makes me Nord enough? Oh and yes, I was born there, lived in USA for 15 years and still write with mistakes, lol. I think Sonja can be considered Nord. Oh and just to remind you, some Nords in Skyrim have Slavic names and Farkas and Vilkas if I am not mistaken have Lithuanian names. I think Kodlak is some Slavic name, in fact. So there seems to be exceptions of who considered Nord.
Maybe Muiri, but I have morals so that means I don't help the DB
So I'd probably settle on Aela
So in other words, king of skyrim, you'd prefer the werewolf?
Never mind, I'll backtrack....
Muiri and Ysolda....... :p
The last spouse that the last character I played with was Aela. On one other file of his, his wife was Mjoln (although she got a bit annoying with her comments and the fact that Aron was following her into our house as well). I also had married Ysolda with him...well my goal with Vladimir was to try out every Nord woman for the marriage, so I made multiple files for him and often played only long enough to get married and move in with the person in their house. Yes, I also been trying to figure out who have better house. So far, none of the spouse's houses will let you adopt children (I don't think there are any).
As far as the hotest mariagible woman goes for Nords, I would say Aela, even though I prefer blondes (Yes my still wife until further notice is blonde, but I better not catch you calling her dumb blonde!). I would say Jordis the Shield Maiden is the hottest, but I am not sure I ever had anyone marry her yet. Mjorln would have been hottest Nord woman too, if not for her habit of talking too much (I think I can deal with Serana's comments, but Mjorln gets a bit old with her remarks and I feel bad for leaving her at home, since she so adventurous, plus you never know what she might do with Aron in your absence.) Although, originaly Vladimir was married to Morwen and spent sometime on Solstheim, living with her in Skaal village.
yep
Sadia is good looking, too bad that hot Redguard, who seem to be in a lot of trouble is not marriagable. Oh and we may never know if she is in the right or in the wrong. It is up to the player who they want to trust. And I see that Russians are not very popular with some people. At least Norwegeans don't mind us so much, the fishermen from the border area between Norway and extreem north of Russia consider themselves one and the same with Russian fisherman. Over there in Russia they say: 'Onegian, it's the same as Norwegian; just different dialect'. Of course it more a joke, but you got the point. Well, maybe it is for the best that Finland got their independence, although they still seem to respect Tsar Liberator, Alexander II. He didn't exactly gave Finland and independence, but he had gave them an autonomy within Russian Empire. The first ruler of free Finland, Monerheim used to serve in Imperial Chavalier Guards and he was sympatetic to the White Movement in Civil War Russia. He even sent an offer to Admiral Kolchak (Then a supreme ruler of Russia), offering him a 10,000 corp if he would recognize independence of Finland. Kolchak was a warrior and not a diplomat, so he said that he does not trade indivisibility of Russia. That was one of the flaws of the White Movent, it had too much military people leading it and not enough diplomats. When Lenin let all of those countries leave the Empire, he understood that at given time, that was the best for Russia. That there will be time for everything and in time those countries could have been brought into Russia again. When Soviet Union was finally formed, only Poland and Finland was not in it, although at some point Poland had become part of the Soviet Block. Monerheim was an honorable man, even though he sided with Hitler, he had a secret agreement with Stalin that he will not move farther then the lands that Soviet Union Anexed during Russo-Finish War. And he really did stop at what is called now a Monerheim's Line. By the way, the main reason Stalin went to war with FInland, was because he didn't like that the border is encroaching so much on Northern Capital, my home town of Leningrad. Anyways, sorry for going off topic and sorry if I have offended anyone. We Russians might not be quite Scandinavian, but we are unique, in a way we have that duality (Not unlike Khajit). To understand Russians, you must not view them like Europeans, neither you must view them as Asians. They are more both, European and Asians. At time they are more Asians who are trying to be Europeans, but they still more both. Oh one more thing, during the reign of Alexander II; Russian Empire reached it biggest expanse in history....and then he sold Alaska to USA. Still not sure why he did that, sure he needed money to fix the things after his father left him with cleaning up Crimean War, but I am sure there were other ways to get that money. Anyways, that is all in the past and it's not like USA will sell Alaska back now and certain Alaskan Governor needs to be quiet! Bering Straight is too large to see Russia from your back yard! Okay, I think I am done with rambling now.
I just learned something. YAY ME!!
(That wasn't being condesending BTW. I LOVE learning stuff!)
Stick around me and you might learn more, I love to share my knowledge...even when no one wants to hear it. My parents always tell me talk less, listen more, my wife's family weren't trying to limit my talking for those few years, I think them might have come to regret telling me on day one that I met my wife. 'Talk as much as you want and don't worry about a thing.' lol But I am glad I helped your learing Sonja.
Ysolda is mine though stay away.
Ah, Muiri. Attractive, caring, and completely heartless. Perfection.
Oh god! Muiri is UGLY, no seriously that is my opinion
Uthgerd the Unbroken of course, what could be more attractive than a battle-hardened Nord woman who can take a few punches (and has, frequently, from the look of her face).
Or if you're into the whole beast thing there's always Shahwee the Argonian dockworker in Windhelm.
I've been wondering.... If a nord marries an argonian...oh god that would be disgusting, I wonder how achward the marriage ceremony would be...

Camilla Valerius and im a sort of Nord in real life because I am Scottish
i dont care really about if she is hot ( it helps though ) what i want to know is which wife has the best and most extensive interactions.
No one said ASTRID?!?! She might be a little crazy but I mean she is good looking
Or, since I mostly play as argonians, argonians with nords... the next generation is going to look very strange...

No wife has more interactions than the others. Skyrim's marriage process is quite lacking.
71.22.134.72 wrote:No one said ASTRID?!?! She might be a little crazy but I mean she is good looking
She sure is seductive, what with that voice and dark humor. However, I wouldn't want for a wife someone who shat on the Tenets.

It's funny that the hottest women in Skyrim are not able to be wed.
There goes my dream with Serana.
I married her on one of my playthroughs and I ended up killing her. Serana went insane and started killing all the females she came across. She is worse than the overly attached girlfriend lol.
If any of you haven't downloaded the mod 'Better Females By Bella', you should. It definetly makes the woman prettier, with smithfaces, clear and shiny makeup. Here is what you can get:
And it works fine will all females, including your character.
The picture is not showing for some reasons, link here.
Then check Muiriwith the same mod.
Sylgja Chuck Norris approves.(Even if most women are intended to look good in Skyrim, they kinda blew it and all of them look old, plus Serana is not marriable no matter she is cured and there is that dialogue bug with Muiri leaving Sylgja the only viable option imho).
You need to get Improved NPC Overhaul mod at Nexus, it gives every female npc a facelift. Unfortunately, it also makes every male npc look like The Thing from Fantastic Four, but well, babes...j/k :)
Actually scratch that, take ANY npc overhaul except that one, unless you are OK with the insane requirements that one has to make it work.
I'm a fairly new player, at about six weeks, so when I learned characters were marryable, I set aside an entire day and performed many if not most of the necessary tasks to open up the candidate list....which on XBox did not permit some I would've prioritized, like Serana and Elisif, and one really pretty blond bard with a voice like bottled silk. Ah well.
I managed a pretty good list, and spent my day as a serial polygamer. (See what I did there?)
Some wives are givens: Lydia. Just because...Lydia.
Mjoll is a good choice, despite the fact that Braveheart by Mabelline isn't my gig, and having around that little eunuch Aerin gets old fast. He's wimpy and creepy, and he's like the bedroom butler if you marry her. He watches her sleep. Mjoll retains that accent, and tells her regular stories without prompting, so it's an interesting life with her. Unfortunately, it's really hard to stomach the way she becomes domesticated. Mjoll isn't the sort whom you should shackle to a stove, even if she's very good-natured about it. 'Can't have you going into battle on an empty stomach, Love.'
Jordis is honey and cream, all the way. Tough as nails, looks STUNNING in Nordic Carved Armor (sans helmet), gorgeous, and has a voice like wind chimes at twilight. She doesn't glitch when saddled with the complete package (Housecarl/Wife/Steward), and she's not intrusive. Keeper.
Iona is like a butch Lydia knock-off. A bunch more terse and reserved, but has a Lydia-clone quality if you love the face but want something a little more down-to-business.
Sylgja, actually quite high on my list, kept defaulting to those filthy miner's duds and pickaxe, no matter how nice the things I equipped her with, but when you can get her to dress properly, she's as fine and fit as they come.
Camilla doesn't fare as well in bright light as she does in the firelight of Riverwood Trader. She was my first choice at one point, then...daylight. Those over-rouged cheeks made her look cheap and low-end. After doing other quests, like Love Triangle, and listening to her brother talk about her, it turns out she's a bit of a pass-around, too. So....pass.
Brelyn, when I first met her, was attractive, but it was jarring to me to hear that snooty, bitchy tone in the trade items menu. 'I'm a blah blah mage, not a something-or-other.' Part of me wanted to thump her one, saying, 'Arch-mage here, GIVING you Daedric Armor and the Wabbajack, if you can bear the awful imposition, Sunshine.' We didn't last.
I could list all the merchants and lumber-maids who I thought were attractive, but they just fell through the cracks. They can't adventure, deprive regions of building materials (and glitch in the process if you're building additional homesteads), and if the Dragonborn is going to have a stay-at-home wife, in my opinion, she'd better be a trophy wife. It's hard to bring over guests and say, 'My woman, the lumberjack.' Who needs splinters?
Jenassa, to me, has smoked one too many Marlboros. If she called me 'Dear' or 'Love', I'd sleep with a dagger under my pillow.
Muiri, Ysolde, Gilfre (the Milfre, I call her affectionately), and a small handful of others shine up very nicely if you're good at wardrobing to suit their individual looks.
Uthgard the Unbroken tripped my fancy, too, for her name alone. It's hard to find a virgin in Skyrim, especially one who seems to like her trade on the rougher side... (I refuse to admit that all her grunting and exertions during our courtship brawl were actually pretty darned attractive.)
I cut my experimentation short, because I had been traveling with Belrand as a follower to accomplish some of the marital tasks, and when I put on the Amulet of Mara, he went all Queen of England on me, with that thick accent, the long hair and balding gray crown, and the bizarre new implications of 'MY Thane'. I left him cruising in the Winking Skeever (which now has a TOTALLY new meaning) for good. You are NOT my sword, and you are NOT my shield, you double-entendre freak. It put me off of the wedding bells for a few days.
On the subject of put-offs, there was the ancient old lady at Agnas Mill. She had a cute name (I was working from a handwritten list), so when I went up to her, it was in the hope this old bag of dried bones might have info about where the cute-named bachelorette would be hiding. Then this leathery old pensioneer started hitting on me. Done. Flee. Flee. The next time I went there, in fact, the next THREE visits, my timing was such that either dragons or vampires decimated the population (brutally killing her), and I felt SO BAD, that I pulled a rare reload-old-save, in order to keep her alive. Her last memory shouldn't be rejection by a potential husband. I introduced her to Belrand.
Having said all that, it's definitely a buyer's market in the wedding department in Skyrim, and it's been fun and interesting to hear everyone's highly subjective first-choices. Seems there's someone for everyone, and that's a good message.
Argh. No.
'It's.'
'Spelled.'
'Sylgja.'

Despite me being a straight man, if it were possible, I would marry Jarl Balgruuf in a heartbeat.
That beard tho
i think that you should be allowed to marry a khajiit :[
theres literally none avalible for marrige
theres literally none avalible for marrige
Bosmer too.
on console version for marriable it would be lydia and aela for pc its serana, mmmmm serana
I would never marry Serana, she's even more of a bloodsucker than my ex-wife.

As a straight female, I agree lol. Also Ulfberth War-Bear from Warmaidens....... So disappointed they cannot be married. Especially since Balgruuf is single, and Adrianna died in my game (Damn Vampires) so Ulfberth is widowed. Oh and Thrynn and Rune from the Theives guild would have been good choices as well. I ended up marrying Vorstag. He's good looking and when you take him out into battle he will say something like 'would it be stupid to suggest taking a break and lighting a fire for awhile? Of course it would....' (Paraphrased because I can't remember exactly) So I figured he can go out and fight if I want him to, but he would probably be just as happy staying home cooking meals lol. I didn't want to marry a Housecarl (otherwise Argis would've been at the top of my marriageable list) and I was scared that marrying Farkas would glitch something, so I just stuck with Vorstag. I'm sure he loves running his 'small store' more than raiding bandit caves anyway. I think the marriageable female selection had much better choices.
As far as the women go they have to be pretty and not annoying. a lot of the marriageable options have annoying dialogues/voices. I like:Lydia and Jordis (More Lydia though)Karliah and JenassaSapphire and Vex (both kinda moody but I prefer the attitude to the 'so nice to have you around...'Aela is cool Speaking of Ingun Blackbriar is pretty though not my favorite dialougeSerana is pretty but I haven't played the DlC much yet so I don't know her personality (I try to complete as many quest as possible on one play through, it's taking forever)And while I agree Muiri is pretty, I wouldn't marry her nor any of the other ones with former boyfriend issues. Lol how awkward is it to have Aerin chilling in your house with Mjoll, or Camelia's visitors?
I think Keeravas' pretty hot; the face of a dinosaur.
What the *&$%$ is wrong with you.
Please dont curse. He has an opinion and there is no need to get hostile.
If its ok, instead of removing your comment, I will replace the word. We cool with this?
If its ok, instead of removing your comment, I will replace the word. We cool with this?
Yeah, I was just a little disgusted
I know this is 'bout 'hot women' thread, but being a straight lady, I think Erandur really has it going on. Damn shame you can't marry him. You can marry someone by beating the crap out of them (I'm looking at you, Benor), but not a Dunmer with a great quest who's trying to make up for past mistakes? Pfft.
I married Athis last playthrough, but could never quite get past the warpaint that covered part of his cute face. =( Shame you can't take a rag and wipe it off..
I wanted to try something different this playthrough, so I married Farkas. I later regretted that, his eyeshadow is so dark it makes him look like a raccoon, and his 'tough guy' voice actor didn't put any feeling into the marriage dialogue. I went back a save just to see if Vilkas was different; indeed. I deleted my marriage to Farkas save and married Vilkas instead. Vilkas is cute, but it was his 'you want to marry me?' and 'we're married now' dialogue that was the best part. =)
Luvas wrote:Probably Sylgja. I like Muiri, Mjoll and Aela as well...That's pretty much it. A lot more presentable and/or badass men than women as marriage options in my book.

please disregard previous questions, googled the quest and found that the lvl. requirement is 14 and i'm 8 or 9.
You must be over level fourteen and Mjoll must like you to get the quest Grimsever's Return, if you didn't agree with her about the Thieves Guild then you'll have to do some favors for the Riften people.
You also have to have found the location of ...uh... Mzinchaleft. I know I spelled that wrong. At least that has always been that way for me.
Nope, you can go straight to Riften and talk to Mjoll, as long as you have the required minimum level and the relationship level with Mjoll (basically just tell her you also dislike the thieves guild). This can also be altered, there's a mod that lets you change the level requirements for a number of Skyrim quests or you can use the console commands. I can't remember the name of the mod but it's easy enough to find on Skyrim Nexus.
P.S.: This thread is getting a little long in the tooth, maybe it's time to let it die and start new ones for this kind of question?

I second that.
LOL true man !!
That comment was two years (and some girls have posted their favorite males in here), but someone just has made that thread here. And over two years later i still always go for Ysolda.
I have a soft spot for Dunmer females. So I would pick either Jenassa or Aranea Ienith. ;)

Suzzana the Wicked, Horki, Sereana, Sigrid, and last but not least classic Lydia.
Any suggestions? Who do think the hottest woman in skyrim is?
I think the best is Alva or Ysolda, perhaps Alea, even Lydia if you the bigger interest. Now is there the Dark Brotherhood leader, i forgot his name.:D And of course, don't forget Vivienne Onis, and the woman who works the Markarth Silver Hands' Treasury House. These are my tips. Vote.
Wait, i forgot something. So you want a wife, has i correct. Then sorry. I don't look at it, there is Vex or Mirabelle Ervine too. Some folks said there is Saadia, but i just dont. The scars on his head, and all of... my favorite is Alva. That's it. Perhaps use console commands, if your game working on. Try this: addtofaction 19809 1. Thanx if i helping too.
Forcing marriage (if your on the PC) has a section on the marriage wiki page here, if the npc doesn't share a voice with a npc that can be married though it might not properly (or sometimes not at all). Some popular npc's have mods to get round this so it's worth searching if you really want to marry them.
Nobody noticed Temba Wide-Arm lol. She looks aok imo, her dialouge options after marriage are pretty good/funny (asking about the meal especially). One may find it annoying, she complains about nearly every house or town ex.: defending from wolves and spiders in Lakieview Manor or getting robbed in Riften. I currently live with her and our kids in Hjerim, pretty big house with loads of space+it looks really nice outside. She still dislikes the town as it's crawling with filth, but I bet that she can take care of our children when I'm away.
Temba is ugly and has the most hostile dialogue of anyone not about to kill you.
She seems to be much more friendly after you marry her, besides it's just the matter of your own preferences.
I'm and orc and thus naturally prefer both the orc babes. One can forge weapons and one can wield them. I personally went with Borgakh.
What about Carlotta Valentia she always flirts plus big breasts and the older the wiser
Carlotta can't be married (without commands or mods), she makes it very clear shes not interested in a relationship with anyone as only her daughter matters to her.
without mods I don't think there's a single female character in this entire series that looks any better than average. seriously all the females in this series are either ugly or average looking, so I tend to do what I do in real life and go for the girl that has the best personality, Ysolda is probably the best in that department.

For me my choice is Alva. I'm a bit of factioned at the Volkihar Clan, but i'm fully be assured that this beatiful vampire is shall be mine so everyone stay out of my girl or i cut out of his misery.:D The only problem here is just the console commands, because that milkdrinker Hroggar already taken from me, but i not going to be unfinished this. I kill this snowback who plays on my lady, and then i wait all the day where his coffin. The only problem here is i'm on console, so the commands where here it's impossible.

Farkas in Daedric armor :P

No one mentioned the housecarl of Riften or the marriageable women of Solstheim. Did I spell that right?
Serena is the best female character shy and strong
but for marriage Aela is my choice not because of her dress but because she is werewolf and she is very strong looking women
I think Sylgja, Muiri, Jordis, Lydia, Mjoll, Astrid, Saadia and Selene Kate are the hottest if your counting PC mods.
On the topic of norse bloodlines, I actually am nordic. I have blonde hair and blue eyes like a typical nord and my entire bloodline dates back to before the scottish empire.

Hot dang that's hard, well I've always been attracted to Gleda the goat but other than that,I'm pretty sure he-who-steals-the-cups would love to test saxheel kumustan with shahvee
sapphire or mjoll the lioness are invincible just watch out for airin for mjoll and the fact she wont shut up
Jordis the Sword Maiden. Not only because of how attractive she is but because she seems highly devoted to you. Compared to Lydia's depressing tone when carrying your burdens, Jordis sounds like she is honored to carry your burdens. And her emotional facial expressions reveal her devotion too. When I was marrying Lisette (console command) Jordis had a sad facial expression when congratulating me. That was when I decided to reload and marry her instead. Forget Proudspire Manor! I'm only paying 25000 gold for the housecarl, Jordis the Lovestruck Warrior!
Its ysolda because nice and youthful redheads are sexy. But there is always Muiri because she accepts You're carrer as an assassin and can also cook up dem erbs.(drug joke because shes an alchemist.) Call me werid but there is also Njada Stonearm because she a kickass a bully but a loveable.(also makes it way easier to grind block and pickpocket.
Begone thoust despicable, foul, undead thread, back to whence you came to rest in eternal slumber, I command thee by the power of Akatosh!
I think Aela is the hottest, but the dibella priestess can do magic, so she can use stoneflesh, if you know what i mean. ;)
this marvelous babe right here for sure OHHH the fantasies <3<3<3
I have to choose between Shavhee and Aela, but in the end, it all comes down to one choice: Scaly or furry my friends, scaly or furry.
ERIC THE DLAGONKILLER 20 WROTE- I WAS GONNA TO MARRY MJOLL THE LIONESS, AND SHE DO NOT DIE IN BATTLE

you have to be level 14 to start it, i hope that will help you
There's no marrigeable Khajiit in this game, woman or not, sexy or not. You may want to check some mods.
I like Ysolda or Arusa Sarthi Ysolda is a drug dealer and Arusa Sarthi learned to cultivate Nirnroot, but Arusa is only for science not for looks.
Ysolda because she owns a store & pays you approx 200 every day.
for me it’s Anska or Angi but neither of them are marriable ;(
Anska no, but for Angi there's an option. Many many npcs including her were fully voiced for marriage but for whatever reason weren't included in the marriageable faction. There's a mod that fixes this called 'marriageable female npcs', it's in the steam workshop for Skyrim. Two clicks (subcribe, and enable in data files on startup) and you'll have the option to marry Angi plus a whole lot more.
For Anska you could do it with console commands, something like: (click on her with the console open)
setrelationshiprank player 4
then: addtofaction 00019809 1
Of course the console command method will likely work on Angi as well, but I'd recommend getting the mod as it opens up all of the options that are actually in the game but just not available. I don't see this as a cheat, more like a fix since I see no reason why some NPC's were excluded from being marriable, especially ones where you've helped them or otherwise proven your character to them in some way, like ingun Black-Briar for one, Saffire for another.
There are also commands to make your new spouse a follower, as well as setting them to essential if needed.
I married Jordis the Sword-Maiden. It’s very slightly annoying that she calls me thane, but, oh well. Also, having my wife slaughter bandits and other creatures with me is great.
