Can I be banned for using mods?

In short, no. There isn't a system in place to detect mods and there hasn't been a single instance of Fatshark stepping in to ban people for using mods. In general they've been taking a neutral stance when it comes to modding Vermintide.

Yes. They have been analyzed and determined safe by moderators of unknowncheats.me here. Starting with the next version, source code of the dlls will be included in the dev repository.
