Hi Balsam,
Let's find out why Google won't open in your Microsoft Edge. Are you getting an error message when trying to access Google in Edge? If yes, what is the exact error message you're receiving?
Have you tried clearing all the check box under Clear browsing data? If not yet, here's how:

1. Open your Microsoft Edge.

Had this happen to me the other day, Go to settings, under the wrench hit On start up, Open specific set of pages, and click on set pages remove the other tab that is popping up when you start.

If the issue persists, run the Windows Apps troubleshooter to repair problems with your apps.
You can also run the System File Checkerto repair missing or corrupted system files. The System File Checker or SFC is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore these corrupted files.
