In this post, we’re going to take a look at some of the best weapon mods currently available on the PS4 in 2019. The list is a little scarce, mainly due to the restrictions that Sony have placed on their console. They don’t allow new models, scripts etc, so it’s impossible for most mods to work.

The Skillzerk Weapon Pack adds over 100 weapons to loot lists, vendors, NPC’s and the chemistry station for crafting. It includes new throwing weapons, melee weapons, guns, none lethal weapons and more.

This mod adds new scopes to the vanilla weapons in Fallout 4, which have 2.5x and 4x magnification. These are called combat scopes, and are intended to replace the Vanilla scopes.

John Marston’s 44

Adds a new revolver to Fallout 4 named John Marston’s 44. This weapon has some special features, such as Seeking Bullets, where bullets will fire towards enemies even if you’re not aiming at them. Alternatively, you can use Dead Eye where you aim will slow down when aiming the weapon.

Deliverer Mark 2

This mod makes some changes to the Deliverer pistol. Now you can use it before completing Railroad quests. The stats, weight and value have also been increased making it seem a tad overpowered. Once installed, you’ll find it in the Root Cellar of Sanctuary.

Wacky Weapons Workshop

Wacky Weapons Workshop aims to create alternate versions of weapons crafted by the player without the restrictions by Sony. To get started with this mod, taking any weapon that you want to modify to a chemistry station. These weapons wont appear on level lists, vendors or NPC’s.

Improved Lighting Ballistics

Improved Lighting Ballistics improves lighting for projectiles such as bullets, lasers, gauss, plasma, missiles, flares, etc. Whilst it also changes the lighting for other light sources including explosions.

Lite Sword

Adds a new sword to the Fallout 4 game world. Inside Hubris Comics, you will find the sword on the top floor in the editing room. The sword deals high energy damage, whilst ignoring most energy armor stats, whilst also featuring custom sounds and animations.

Winter Blade

This weapon is actually a PS4 mod exclusive, it’s the Winter Blade. You can find it at Jamaica Plane, on top of some filing cabinets. The developer hasn’t given much more information about the blade.
